Preparatory Section

For the effective results in solvent extraction the raw materials are very important as the extraction equipments itself. Below mentioned are features:
  • Feed stock should have a particle size small enough to enable the solvent to reach right up to the core.
  • Should have fairly uniform particle size in order to 'pack well' in the Extractor and form a homogeneous bed.
  • Should possess good percolation characteristics.


The big pieces in the feed results in the high oil content as the solvent would not be able to enter to the core. With small particles it can lead to poor percolation and the channeling effect, hence resulting in poor performance. After good experience we have developed our range which is suitable for every type of raw material.

Expeller Cakes

These cakes are effectively handled by:

  • Cake Breaker (702)
  • Roller Mill (703)


Made in special alloy, while running on heavy bearings, with driving mechanism helps in breaking larger pieces of cakes into smaller pieces. They are further broken into smaller pieces in the roller mill (703), in which corrugated rolls are utilized.

Soyabeans
  • Soyabean processing need cracking, cooking and flaking operations.
  • GLAMPTECH Cooker is a multistaged vertical vessel with steam heated bottom plates and specifically designed live steam injection arrangement so set that the whole surface of material is uniformly enclosed by steam.
  • The intrinsically designed agitator assembly moves the material and makes It pass from stage to stage.
  • Automatic level adjustment and regulation devices are provided.


Afterward, the soyabean which is cracked and cooked are sent to the next operation of flaking. It helps in flaking varied oil seeds hence, breaking the cellular structures and exposing large area for oil extraction. The machine includes:

  • Chilled cast iron.
  • Dynamically balanced rolls mounted on heavy C.I Housings.
  • Suitable bearings


With the help of hydraulic power pack which is fitted with pressure switch, helps in adjusting the gap and generates pressing power. It produces quality flakes with thickness of 0.25 mm to 0.3 mm, appropriate for effective extraction process.

Ricebran

Our GLAMPTECH pelletizing machine helps in producing the porous pellets with good percolation characteristics and rice bran is a powdery material which does not allow percolation of solvent easily.

Solvent Extraction System 

Solvent Extraction Process

We offer solvent extraction process which is known among our valued clients for its effectual functioning. Below mentioned is its process:
  • The prepared material from Preparatory section is recieved in the Feed Hopper through Rotary Valve.
  • The material in the hopper and the rotary valve together constitute an effective vapour seal while the latter also serves to regulate the feed.
  • The hopper is further provided with the special switches for high level and low level indications.


If the energized stops of the band conveyor of the extraction then the high level indication helps in transmitting the audio signal ad video signal to the preparatory section for preparatory operator to take corrective measures.


The band conveyor moves over rails suitably located inside the Extractor and rides on specially constructed sprockets at either end. The speed of the band conveyor is easily adjustable within desired limits. An adjustable damper enables the regulation of height of bed of material on band conveyor.

The Glamptech Extractor

The GLAMPTECH Extractor is the long horizontal vessel which is rectangular in cross section in the MS construction. It has the articulated band conveyor which is inside the extractor receives material from feed hopper. Below mentioned is its process:
  • The band conveyor moves over rails suitably located inside the extractor and rides on specially constructed sprockets at either end.
  • The speed of the band conveyor is easily adjustable within desired limits.
  • An adjustable damper enables the regulation of height of bed of material on band conveyor.


For the perfect spray of the solvent on the moving bed, it has series of sprayers located above the band conveyor. Special spray breakers help in effective distribution of solvent over the entire width of moving bed. The process includes:

  • Each spraying section is followed by a draining section.
  • Fresh slovent is admitted into the Extractor near the discharge end of the moving bed of material.
  • Full miscella is recovered from the initial stage.
  • It makes sure the effective flow of material and the solvent.


After increasing the oil content in each hopper, the miscella circulates in the closed circuit in each section by overflowing from each hopper. So in each section there is equilibrium between the oil extracted from the seed in corresponding section and the difference in oil content of solvent overflowing the preceding hopper together with the solvent overflowing the following section.

With the high pressure jet spray, cleaning of the band conveyors is done and with the spray of fresh solvent at band conveyor, ensures the golden cleaning of the mesh and helps in the elimination of choking of mesh and channeling.

Distillation System

Distillation System 

We set up distillation group which is known for its effective functioning among our valued clients. This distillation system is operated under high vacuum, low vacuum and short distillation period, which make sure the good quality of oil. It is also coupled with the final drying of oil in oil heater, resulting in production with low volatile in it.

Following is the process of distillation group:

  • The miscella from the miscella tank (17) is pumped through Vapour Economiser (60A) to First Evaporator (18A)
  • The Economiser Unit is specially designed in order to effectively utilize the heat of vapours emerging from the Desolventiser Toaster (70).
  • The vapours from D.T. enter into the (60A) & dissipate heat.(17)
  • The concentrated miscella thus obtained from the Economiser Unit, is rapidly heated in the first Evaporater (18A) by means of low pressure steam and enters into the flasher (18B), where solvent vapours are flashed off.
  • The oil rich miscella thus obtained is charged into the second Evaporater (21 A) & flasher cum stripper (22A).
  • The flashed off solvent vapours from (18B) & (22A) are condensed in the condensers 1 9 & 23 respectively & liquid solvent is recirculated back to the process through solvent water separator (32 A/B)


Below mentioned are its advantages:
  • Results in reducing the consumption of steam in the plant.
  • Increases the capacity of the Distillation section, as miscella enters the Distillation section at elevated concentrations of approximately 45% instead of the usual concentrations of around 20%.
  • Increases the capacity of the condensing section in proportion to the heat dissipated from vapours of D.T. in the Economiser Unit & gainfully utilized for concentrations of miscella.
